OEM flywheels are heavy parts designed for optimum street drivability by soaking up some of the power from the engine and putting it in storage in the form of inertia, unfortunately this comes at the expense of engine response and acceleration. Our light-weight flywheel keep less inertia in storage but the lighter rotating mass providing significantly improved engine response and acceleration characteristics, an excellent modification for road or racing use, exactly what performance enthusiasts need.
Made from precision chrome-moly forgings that have an induction hardened integral ring gear, which weighs less than 4kg. Designed for faster revs, quicker engine response, improved drivability and provide quick throttle response exiting corners, a proven product used by Japanese race teams worldwide.
Oil Cooler Optional Upgrade

Although the original engine has an oil cooler as standard we have found for prolonged track and race use, an upgraded cooler is advised (also recommended for Supercharged cars).
The oil cooler we use is a Mocal water-oil exchanger unit. All the oil hoses are of the highest quality Teflon lined and steel braided type. The lining will take temperatures of 250° which is far more than your oil will ever achieve. The cooling pipe work is bespoke 3 ply silicon and aluminium pipe work

No Labour Charge If Fitted At The Same Times As Flywheel
EXEDY performance clutch uses only premium friction materials that are resistant to slippage and burst. Increased clamp loads give the necessary capacity to handle highly tuned and modified engines. The drivability is similar to a stock clutch although pedal efforts will be slightly higher due to the higher clamping loads.
All of our clutch discs have high capacity spring centre dampers to reduce the drive train shock and impact. The result is maximum torque capacity and durability, while maintaining good release clearance for fast, clean gear changes.
A3 Camshafts & Eibach Valve Springs

Steel billet A3 camshafts developed for the race cars but equally good for road application either normally aspirated or supercharged. When fitted with Eibach valve springs and mapped should see approximately 20BHP gains.
Dry Sump Kit
Fitted Price £3600 + VAT
Developed for the race cars but available to S1 and S2 models. To ensure good oil pressure no matter what G you are pulling. On slicks we have seen 1.8G which is enough to trash a standard engine with no dry sump. An air/oil cooler is needed to be fitted with this kit along with an oil tank and relevant oil lines.
Custom Painted K20A" Cam Covers

Wavetrac Limited Slip Differential

Through our racing experience we have found that the Wavetrac LSD to be the most suitable in this application and is highly recommended for track/race cars.

Supercharger Optional Upgrade

For superb throttle response, linear power delivery and top end performance.
Boosting power by around 80BHP +, whilst providing a consistent level of torque across the entire engine rev range. Based on the Eaton M62 Roots type Supercharger, with our custom mounts, injectors, and mappings, you have options for over 300BHP and over 200Ft/Lbs
The supercharger install components include a cast aluminium intake manifold, mounting brackets, gaskets, spacers, pulleys, belt tensioner, and all the fuelling hardware you see below.
The supercharger option can be added at the time of conversion or at a later date.
Fitted Price £2833 + VAT
For the ultimate upgrade to the Supercharger system is the MSC charge cooler. A new alloy charge cooler radiator is fitted along with new cooling fan under the existing radiator. New coolant pipes run through the sills to the new heat exchanger fitted between the inlet manifold and supercharger. An electric water pump and ancillaries are plumbed in. When its back together we remap your ECU and dyno test to get the optimum performance and when fitted with our billet camshafts 380BHP is attainable.
Please note it is essential that your engine internals are uprated to suit the increase in engine power. Any engine failures resulting from charge cooling your engine are not covered by the Maidstone Sports Cars & HondaElise warranty.
Uprated Supercharger Nose

Supplied on an exchange basis with a new shaft made out of EN54 steel and new bearings and seals (known weakness in the Jackson S/C) Developed for the race cars but now available for all road applications.
Supercharger Nose Support Bracket

Open K&N Air Filter

RBC Inlet Manifold

Flexible Catalytic Converter Replacement Pipe

Built by the same craftsmen that build our exhaust manifolds. No others are back purged and TIG welded 304 stainless steel, we use 304 grade stainless steel laser cut flanges.

Race Manifold & Exhaust System.

Developed for our race cars this 4-2-1 exhaust manifold was designed for power gains and flow and when fitted with our repackable silencer can see usefull power gains. (Moves manifold away from driveshafts and intermediate shafts and routes system over subframe)
Can be ceramic coated @ extra cost.
Boot area is lost when this system is fitted.
Maidstone Sports cars is able to have your exhaust manifolds and silencer ceramic coated. This helps reduce engine bay temperatures significantly.
Oil Temp/Oil Pressure Gauge

Maidstone Sports Cars is able to supply and fit the Spa digital dual gauge so you can keep an eye on your oil temp and pressure.

The 3 way aluminium Motorsport water radiator is a sensible upgrade and essential if supercharging or charge cooling. This is a straightforward replacement of the original plastic ended tank.
The Standard alluminium radiator is sufficient for the normally aspirated Honda.

This is an upgrade of the original fan which is probably seized! It is a straightforward replacement and is highly recommended if you are changing the radiator.
High Output Fuel Pump & Swirl Pot

(These are essential for the Supercharged Conversion but can be used aswell with the normally aspirated conversion.
This is standard fitment on the supercharged conversion. The OE pump is fine running at 3 bar and flows plenty for 225BHP. The Bosch pump we use is a top quality unit capable of flowing enough fuel for up to 500BHP. It works on the process of the OE pump which now acts as a simple "lift" pump.
The swirl pot/fuel reservoir is beautifully crafted from lightweight aluminium, TIG welded connections and fixing points have been strategically placed to ideally position the fuel lines once mounted, thus keeping the hoses to the minimum lengths which not only looks neat it saves weight too.
